Who We Are

We have been in the communications business in one facet or another since 1964.  Our founding partner, Larry Shaefer has gone from repairing, to designing to constructing various types of systems since high school & college.  Larry spent several years working at NASA on Apollo /LIM communications and Nuclear transport programs.  Larry taught Judy what a resistor was in 1977 and they married in 1981 and have been working together every since. 

Beginning in retailing and support staff, Judy has spent time typing those multi-part carbon-copy FCC forms when you could not make a mistake or the Commission would return it and leasing tower space to Wireless Carriers and others. She has also learned to use ULS to bid on the RCC and VPC License Spectrum and updating license requirements as Office Manager. 

Larry has vision and the intelligence to understand this business and the changes that have been made throughout the past 40+ years and has managed to shape his businesses to conform to what it takes to participate in this industry. 

Our Business

We are a group of companies who are FCC Licensees, tower site owners, and owners of properties suitable to build tower additional sites interested in providing quality services to our clients. 

 

 

Our Goals:

 

Build UHF or VHF Trunking and conventional systems in the Gulf Coast area and other areas where we or our affiliates are licensed.  Lease our frequencies in the areas where municipalities or business require airtime and provide equipment whenever needed to our clients.
